English Humor

I think in England people have a considerable sense of humor. We can mention such well-known writers, as Jerome Jerome, Bernard Shaw and even Konan Doyle. Of modern writers I am glad to mention Helen Fielding, whose brilliant novel about Brigit Jones and wonderful film made on this novel are full of humor. A person possessing such high rank sense of humor isn’t afraid of mocking at herself. I am sure British Parliament members use much humor in their debates. I am not speaking of so-called humor that was called “below-the-belt humor”. It is not so funny to laugh at awkward position or scene that poor things get into.
